David Willis

David is the managing director here at cmt.training, he is a professional voice and communication skills coach; his work focuses on helping leaders develop their ‘leadership presence’. He originally trained as a voice coach and worked with actors at The Royal Shakespeare Company, The Globe Theatre and in The West End. He taught at many of London’s leading drama schools including The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and The Central School of Speech and Drama. David is an executive coach an NLP Master Practitioner, an NLP Coach, and is trained in managing and influencing group dynamics. He is often asked to speak at conferences and was recognised with a top speaker’s award by Vistage, The International Chief Executives’ Organisation.

Edda Sharpe

Edda is a highly experienced voice, accent, and communication coach. As well as her extensive business work she enjoys a rich and diverse career giving masterclasses in drama schools and coaching professional actors for companies such as The RSC, Shakespeare’s Globe, The Royal Court Theatre, English National. Edda is an NLP Master Practitioner. This practice has broadened and deepened every aspect of her work in voice, communication, and leadership. She is also a published author having co-written - HOW TO DO ACCENTS and HOW TO DO STANDARD ENGLISH ACCENTS, and co- developer of an online accent app, The ACCENT Kit, for the development of accents of English from around the world.

Hugh OShea

Hugh O’Shea is a director here at cmt.training he is also a talented voice and accent coach having gained an MA in Voice Studies at the Central School of Speech and Drama. He has over ten years of experience working with our business clients on their presentation and impact skills. Hugh’s original background was in acting where he performed in many successful productions at the National Theatre and Shakespeare’s Globe. As well working as a communication trainer, he coaches actors for film and television roles. He’s currently working on a drama series for Disney +.  

Caroline Croughan

Caroline is an Executive Coach and Leadership Development Specialist with over 25 years’ experience. Her focus is working with leaders at all levels and their teams to improve performance and adaptability. Exploring purpose, strengths and developing strategies and behaviours associated with high levels of self-awareness, strong communication and engagement skills and positive working relationships.

Danièle Lydon

Danièle is an experienced voice coach having obtained an MA in voice at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She spans the worlds of business and the arts having started her professional life acting extensively in film, theatre and TV. As a voice coach Danièle has worked with The National Theatre, The Royal Shakespeare Company, English National Opera and West End productions including Harry Potter, School of Rock and Billy Elliott. She is in demand as a specialist in accent and dialects and also works as a voice over artist and has coached actors on major film and TV series like: Death On The Nile, Mank, Rogue One – A Star Wars Story (language creation), House of the Dragon, Baptiste and Poldark.

Claudette Forbes

Claudette Forbes is passionate about coaching and mentoring people to help them achieve their full potential. She comes from a solid leadership background with more than 25 years’ experience running departments in the public sector including the London Mayor’s office. She honed her communication skills to reach a wide variety of audiences as a director of large government departments where she specialised in the regeneration of rundown areas. Claudette is also an accomplished singer, saxophonist and ceramicist.

Richard Ryder

Richard is a voice, accent and presentation coach. He has been working in both the business and creative environments for more than 20 years. He is an expert in his field and works with highly successful individuals all over the world. His aim is to develop excellence in communication in the world of theatre, film, TV and opera or in leadership, influencing, media and presentation skills training. Richard’s voice work has been honed in the voice departments of the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal National Theatre in the UK. He has an app and website for accents for actors and is a qualified NLP practitioner.

Louise Grinsdale

Louise works internationally as a coach, facilitator and consultant.  She works with a range of industries across the public and private sector, including Financial Services, Housing, Manufacturing, Luxury Retail, Oil & Gas, The Arts, AI & Technology. Her passion is helping people to develop their authentic leadership behaviours.  This could be working with clients to design, deliver and measure leadership development solutions, facilitating leadership teams in other areas or providing 1-1 coaching.

Victoria Woodward

Victoria Woodward is an accomplished Voice and Communication Coach, working in both the arts and the business worlds. Having trained first as an actor at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, she worked in a variety of theatre, film, TV and radio roles before studying for her MA in Voice Studies at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She went on to teach at many of London’s leading drama schools and worked with actors at The Royal Shakespeare Company, The Bridge Theatre and is currently delighted to be part of the team at The Royal National Theatre. Victoria has coached a diverse spectrum of corporate clients.

Gordon Raitt

Gordon is an international trainer with more than 35 years’ experience. He delivers training and coaching in sales, customer relationship management, presentation skills and influencing. Gordon’s background is in industry having worked for a number of large retail companies and as a general manager and the head of training for a major food business. He is in demand globally as a conference speaker and is a certified NLP Practitioner. Gordon is passionate about performance and has had first-hand experience handling audiences in the tough world of stand-up comedy.

Tracy Livingstone

Tracy is our operations manager here at cmt.training and  responsible for the smooth running of the business. She handles the day-to-day logistics and is very often the first person you will have contact with. Tracy is an accredited NLP practitioner and qualified interpersonal mediator and in her spare time volunteers her skills to supporting vulnerable families within her community.

Phil Law

Phillip is an actor with over thirty years’ experience in the theatre, television, films, commercials and voiceovers. In the West End he has appeared in “Dirty Linen” at the Arts Theatre and “The Merry Widow” at the London Coliseum. He also played Peter in “No Sex Please, We’re British” at the Jarla Theatre, Stockholm. He has extensive experience in the corporate world in sales, recruitment and training. For the past fifteen years he has been heavily involved in roleplay work for a wide range of commercial organisations. He also delivers “An introduction to roleplay” workshop to students at drama schools.

Cate Fowler

Cate, an actor, works with leaders in the political and business world, both in the UK and internationally. She uses her expertise as a role-player in challenging scenarios to help develop their skills and behaviours. She has a strong performance and coaching background which she applies to working to help people with communication skills, leadership behaviours and audience engagement. Kate is also in demand as a presenter at award ceremonies, live events, corporate videos and training films.
