Working collaboratively improves productivity and gives everyone a sense of purpose. This workshop focuses on the ‘how to’ of collaboration. Excellent communication is key to building a collaborative team. It is about being more emotionally intelligent while having respect for those both different and similar to ourselves. Collaboration is particularly appropriate where relationships need to be developed and maintained over a period of time. The workshop will give you greater awareness of your preferred influencing style and the ability to respond to others in an authentic, appropriate manner. This will enable you to build relationships and influence conversations with greater confidence and more sensitivity to the needs of others. The workshop is highly practical and you will have the opportunity to develop your skills through activities, and/or challenging role-plays with actors, and by demonstrating your preferred influencing style at a meeting. You will also receive feedback and coaching to help you to develop greater flexibility.

  • Read and respond to different people’s behaviours
  • Find out what’s important to someone so that you can work with them more effectively
  • Develop greater listening skills to engage both with what is said and unsaid
  • Deliver difficult messages so as not to jeopardise relationships
