Rockford Sansom

Rockford Sansom is a communications coach and author with extensive international experience. He works with senior professionals and leaders to strengthen clarity, confidence, and authenticity in communication, helping clients develop a strong and credible presence in high-stakes environments.

Rockford has worked with CMT Training for many years and brings a deep understanding of the CMT approach to his work with clients in the United States. He delivers coaching and group programmes and works closely with clients to ensure the needs of individuals and their teams are realised in practice. His clients have included Fortune 500 executives, UN delegates, members of the US Congress, and TED speakers.

Rockford is the author of three books on voice and communication and previously served as editor of Voice and Speech Review, contributing to thought leadership in the field. Alongside his work in leadership and professional communication, he has also coached performers working in theatre and on Broadway.

Theresa McElwee

Theresa is an experienced voice and speech coach based in the United States who works with professionals and groups to strengthen clarity and effectiveness in communication. She has worked with CMT Training for several years, delivering programmes across the USA as well as in virtual learning environments.

Theresa delivers coaching and training that helps individuals communicate with confidence and authenticity. Known for her perceptive and engaging style, she helps clients develop practical skills that enable them to connect with their audiences and communicate with greater impact.

Theresa holds an MFA from the Yale School of Drama and is a certified Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework®. Alongside her coaching work she teaches undergraduate drama students at Tisch School of the Arts and coaches performers working in professional productions in New York City. Earlier in her career she appeared on Broadway and Off-Broadway and performed at Lincoln Center Theater.

Brett Duggan

Brett is a communications and performance coach who works with a diverse range of clients to strengthen confidence and effectiveness in communication. He helps professionals develop the clarity, presence, and connection needed to communicate successfully in demanding professional environments.

Brett delivers coaching and group programmes that support individuals in becoming more confident and engaging communicators. Known for his energetic and inspiring style, he helps clients think quickly, respond naturally, and communicate with greater authenticity and impact.

Alongside his work with CMT Training, Brett teaches communication and spontaneity to honours students at Louisiana State University. He holds an MFA from the University of California, Davis and is a certified Master Teacher of Seven Pillars Acting. Earlier in his career he worked as a professional actor and touring stand-up comedian, experiences that sharpened his ability to connect with audiences and communicate with immediacy and confidence.
